Project Description:

The development of this bike seat is part of a design effort by our designers and Life Fitness to improve user experience. Inadequately designed bike seats can lead to improper support for users causing stress on the lower back, shoulders and hands in addition to reduced blood flow caused by undesired pressure points.

Extensive ergonomic research and rigorous testing on competitive products was performed by our design team. Research and product testing led to a contoured bike seat with a relief groove channel in the center to give users proper support were needed and relief were needed for freedom of movement and relief from unwanted pressure.
