Sub-Zero - Wine Storage

Project Description:

Sub-Zero is the leader in wine storage for the home. They have tamed the four enemies of wine: heat, humidity, vibration and light. Each unit has two distinct zones, one for whites and one for reds.

Our designers worked closely with Sub-Zero engineers to elevate the wine storage units to a level deserving of the Sub-Zero brand. With aesthetic refinements to color and finishes combined with new added features, these units draw praise from wine enthusiast.

The line of wine storage includes many sizes and configurations from Classic Built-in to fully integrated, to free standing and under counter. These units can be finished in wood or stainless-steel panels on the outside.

The features resulting from the collaboration between our Industrial Designers and their Engineers include: an industry first wine inventory labeling system that uses inventory tiles that are either pre-printed with names of common types of wine or blank and can be customized with a paint pen for more obscure types of wines. The pre-printed tiles each have eight different labels on them and only one is visible at a time when installed in the rack. A display rack which angles bottles for better viewing can be used to feature select bottles. A bulk storage drawer can be used in place of two regular racks to hold large bottles. A dessert wine rack insert is helpful for holding smaller bottles. lastly a humidor completes the options allowing for controlled storage of your cigars.
